ive never really been good at handling change. coming out and doing shit.. that's a lot of change. i can't handle that. im not gonna be able to do that. nor will i ever be the same as a cis girl. i have zero fucking chance of just having a normal life. i dont want to live like this. or, just, in general

@citrustwee i dont know your situation nor will i try to understand the emotional trouble you're going through, but seeing even on here the amount of transwomen who are more happily living in their 30s and 40s, after surviving their 20s, i believe in you. it at least seems to get better.

@citrustwee i have this kinda thought a lot like why cant i be cis? but then i remember plenty cis people think the same thing: why cant i be healthier, why cant i be strong, why cant i be thinner, why cant i be taller.... and i think ultimately we're all given one experience and have to make the best of it knowing we're the exact opposite of alone in it & all the good things we have wouldnt have come without it.

@citrustwee been going through CBT along with meds for my diagnoses and although ill never be able to fully understand what it's like because of my priv, I wanna share the advice that was given to me for very similar problems:uncomfortable and painful feelings and emotions are uncomfortable and painful but they won't hurt you, you are strong enough to last through them and break through back to the happy feelings

@citrustwee god this is relatable. It's weird and kind of scary realizing after drifting passively through most of my life I now have to take charge and risk alienating people I care about in order to be happy in my life. Thankfully everyone I've talked to so far about it has been really supportive, which has helped me become more confident about myself.
