@amy Yeah! It's a sort of redesign of the fem Malkavian character from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, a video game set in the pen and paper setting VTM. The Malkavians in the video game are whats called "fishmalks", or people who kind of go overboard with the deranged and unpredictable element associated with Malkavians. (they're mentally ill psychics but can be distinguished and well written and roleplayed). A Fishmalk is like, an insult kinda. For being a bad roleplayer.

@amy Like, a common Malkavian will have minor inconveniences to their psyche, and are still normal ass people. A Sabbat Malkavian (the bad guys) would make an extremely edgy psychological thriller villain, and a Fishmalk just like... "dramatically holds a fish" etc. So in the video game, what makes them fishmalky is that ALL OF THEIR DIALOGUE is incoherent poetry

@amy OH and my reason in particular for wanting to embrace the whole fishmalk thing is because it's a reaction to people in VTM groups shaming people for having fun (with any clan) and not taking the same so seriously (its not THAT serious). To embrace the fishmalk label is to have a sense of humor with the way you play.

@dtluna @amy You can even get a special ending involving a dancing werewolf if you pick the right dialogue. They really try to make it entertaining, and it works so well.
