@thatcosmonaut I spend a week or so researching different types of widget x. I eventually buy brand y of widget x.Google spends the next goddamn year giving me ads about x widgets, which I definitely no longer need. And somehow they're billionaires.

@thatcosmonaut if programmers went on strike i think most games would transfer to web games because most artists have a cursory understanding of jquery and the newground kids from 2005 would be our new lords
