       Gatsby JS is a shitty static site generator because it’s completely dependent on React. React is shit for four reasons:It was made by Facebook.It is built on JavaScript.It makes the “view source” function useless to newbies who want to see how web pages are built.It encourages front end developers to mix style markup with structural markup, which made the late 1990s web such a clusterfuck that the W3C had to create CSS to save the web from web designers.There are better ways to build a static web site. Roman Zolotarev manages it with a fucking Unix shell script. You don’t need JS or React. You just want that shit because it’s trendy.
