Hey Linux nerds what's a good distro these days that works pretty well out of the box (like I can install it and I don't have to worry about configuring everything) that isn't ubuntu or mint? Is there one? Preferably using KDE but I'm not too picky about that.

@hoppet I was pretty happy with Elementary OS, but they make you pay these days.

@kondziu @hoppet It's pay what you want even zero, but it's definitely a mind game. The devs said something about being upset about putting in work to the project and not getting too much money back for the efforts or something to that effect way back when. It's supposed to guilt you into paying.

@Azazer @hoppet guilted me into not using, I guess
