Eco fascism is easy to fall into when you have a very tenuous grip on politics but really love nature. I'm doing a few lessons on deforestation and climate change and I have to be extremely careful not to implant any 'man vs nature' misconceptions

If you frame it as humans exploiting the land for profit it's too vague. If you aren't careful talking about deforestation the students might point the blame at the impoverished hands that are doing the felling, rather than the societal issues that drive someone to have no choice but to exploit the land to feed a family

@Send_LwydsIt's (in part) also why I'm against people trying to blame industrializing nations for their carbon output as an excuse for post-industrialized nations failure to deal with their own outputs (like the United States).I mean not to mention they're now LEADING us on clean energy, but even before that, it always bothered me.
