       @paeneultima Federation is opt- in. You want see anything from any other instance until somebody from your instance follows someone there. Or until you use a relay.

       @Mac_CZ @paeneultima The inverse of the opening is "Stop making Quality Admins spend every waking second researching and whitelisting domains", except even more so, because there are over 4,000 domains in the fediverse, and the vast majority of them are alright. You don't want to be dealing with that volume "please let me talk to my friend" from your users, assuming people don't just leave back to Twitter.
