So. This gif. One of the first Google Search results when you look up "dancing edgeworth". http://pa1.narvii.com/6370/36fe93d2780bdfdb93993fc161b3120e69974263_00.gifI've seen it passed around as a meme in several different contexts, even in knowyourmeme if I remember correctly, and it always catches me off guard.I made that gif.

It was like a TON of years ago, on an Ace Attorney forum. I used to do (obviously bad, but not for my age at the time) sprite edits sometimes, and this was a joke edit I made once in passing. And somehow it got uh, semi-popular?? Of course no one credits back to the origin, which I'm thankful for because, you know, embarassing teen phase. It's a weird feeling though

@hikaruaikawa So in 2007 I made a pretty bad Zero Wing/Chocolate Rain mashup on the tail end of the Chocolate Rain craze. It hung around for a year getting the type of reaction you'd expect a flash in the pan meme video to get. And, uh. Then it got cited by an academic document about participatory meme culture. Not merely cited, but in fact the entire article was named after the video.
