Still got 75+ pages left in my 2018 Leuchtturm journal, hmm.I really want to start my 2019 book! I have an extremely pretty tartan one picked-out. :P

@fineursine I fell out of the habit so I’m using this as an excuse to start anew and try out a Clairefontaine I have.

@hierarchon, have you used Clairefontaine paper before? Oh my God, it's so nice. I couldn't resist getting a slate grey one for my next DnD log.And probably that LE Flying Spirit series they released...

@fineursine Yesss, it’s gorgeous. I also have a Tomoe River sample I used for Cultist Simulator notetaking and it was amazing.

@hierarchon, I've only used the Apica and Muji papers, but I really enjoyed them. Looking forward to a Tomoe River next time I get something from Elemental. :)

@hierarchon, they're doing some periodic table themed journals and the new Iodine variety has Tomoe River paper. https://www.mountainofink.com/blog/elemental-notebook

@hierarchon, they seem a tiny bit over-priced to me, but I realize TR has a premium. And the color is amazing~ https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq-ugivnVFt/

@fineursine I have a Seven Seas Writer I haven't used yet. It's about the same cost, but it has twice as many pages as the Iodine.I also have some relatively small things from Goulet, which is what I'm going to use as a sample thing, because I wasn't quite aware of how much TR ghosts. So I'll see if I can deal with it in the small notebook before I commit to the bigger one. :)

@fineursine (I've thought about getting a Rhodia notebook, but something about the way their fake-leather covers feel is unpleasant to me.)

@hierarchon, that's the exactly texture of the Unobtainium pocket journals Elemental does. I kind of dig it, but it's like a wet-suit feeling.

@hierarchon, I've heard really good things about the Seven Seas ones! I want to get one of these, but they seem to go quickly. https://www.etsy.com/listing/516605511/taroko-enigma-a6-notebook-v2-with-white

@fineursine Yeah, the quality on the Seven Seas is wonderful.
