@technomancy Are you still using EXWM? AwesomeWM is being a pain for me (ie. I'm tired of carrying a patch for [1] in my local Guix repo, and there hasn't been a release in ages), so I'm thinking of trying out EXWM and/or StumpWM.My biggest fear with EXWM is that I'll try to open a huge file, lock up Emacs, and break everything. Does that happen to you?[1]: https://github.com/awesomeWM/awesome/issues/1344

@carlozancanaro yeah, I've been on exwm for over a year now and it's great! a few minor rough edges but nothing compared to the pain of "using a WM that's not Emacs"I've never had large files lock up Emacs. sometimes I use badly-written code that makes synchronous network calls or something; the worst that happens in that case is I press C-g and stop using that code, sometimes writing a replacement or fixing it. but it's rare.
