       @astheroth Personally i think this is a bad sign for the western economy as a whole. Consumers are lengthening the time they keep a phone for and are repairing them rather than buying new when they break. Could be a sign that they don't have the money to afford the upgrades they once did.

       @astheroth As for Apple, it's  been able to pull off the magic of having Ferrari-level profit margins with Toyota market size for a long time. Investors are scared this is coming to an end. Apple won't go broke any time soon (it's got a lot of cash in the bank) but a lot of investors are worried that it's stocks have hit a peak and are running for the exit.
