       TIL Google won't let you subscribe to a podcast unless you grant them permission to save and track all your web and app activities, including location. (It's OK I'll use a different podcast app 😄)

       @peter If you're looking for a good #podcast app, check AntennaPod. It's also available on #fdroid. Has multiple options to search for podcasts. I find it very easy to use.

       @peter Not exactly. This setting is for remembering your activity on *Google sites and apps*, including the location, if you've allowed it in other settings.
