@selfagency @killeveryhetero I would appreciate an explanation and a clarification from the two of you over these obviously offensive, insensitive posts. I won't toss around words like transphobic. I will simply say that as a member of the LGBTQIA community myself they are offensive to ME. If I don't get a response within 12 hrs, I will post this on my main TL. @desitively @selfagency I explained my position very clearly after the unwarranted shitstorm that auntifa rained down on me for six hours, including literally reporting my toot asking her to leave me alone several hours after things had settled (knowing that I read the reports queue).I left a few qualifiers off of my first toot because I believed that they werent necessary, that people would *obviously* know they were implied. A cursory scroll down my toots&replies from yesterday would make my position very clear, but, fine. @killeveryhetero @desitively @selfagency your distaste for drag does not make it appropriate to compare it to blackface.The cultural problems with drag as an institution are not the same as the racist institution of blackface, and ignores the liberatory history of drag scene for the queer community and the irredeemably oppressive history of blackface.

I dunno, the comparison seems pretty fuckin' apt to me. But lets all go off about this for another entire day. My original post was *literally* saying "I find this offensive but I'm not stopping you from enjoying it, it just means we disagree about something" and the irony of what followed is overwhelming.
