       @trussel@mastodon.social @msh @thegibson Oh cool, wasn't aware there's a prequel in the making. Haven't even seen the original yet, I only recognized it thanks to cultural osmosis. But I have the impression I'd enjoy it.

       @clacke @thegibson @Trussell I'm hopeful that the prequel series will be just as good. The cast sounds quite interesting and they will not be putting lipstick on the Mona Lisa by making it all CGI (even today I don't think computer animation could fully capture the essence of the puppetry and practical effects of the original film).
