@thegibson Apophis will not be a problem in 10 years, even if it were on a collision trajectory.

@thegibson given current progress in space programs, even countries like India/Japan should be able to deflect/disperse it on a very short notice (it's just 300m)....by 2039 someone might end up mining it.

@Daedalus I don't trust them to be there in time... if it were to hit the keyhole that lines it up for a 2036 hit, I don't think any of them may be ready 300m doesn't sound like much, but 300m at that rate of speed will take a lot of work to move.
