@tomasino some people swear by the suckless terminal (st I think it's called). Terminology has a high shiny factor, but in the end I found myself drifting back to gnome-terminal and I'm not sure why.You could go old-school and get yourself a hardware terminal šŸ˜€

@tomasino spend the day trying to find one for my new sway setup but none have proven really superior to the gnome one. I tried alacritty, kitty, st and termite. All of them have some neat features but I doubt I will need them.

@tomasino I use and like terminator. Wouldn't consider myself a power user though.

@nydel @noogles @tomasino I think you should take a look at plain ol' xterm and rediscover how beautiful it is.

@thinkMoult @noogles @nydel i've got a pretty solid xterm setup, as well as st and alacritty. I think i'll try out some of these other reccos and see how they go. I don't need much -- just good font and character support and speed.

@tomasino could not get Alacritty working with my graphics card. I use st with tmux. My config over here: https://gitlab.com/bkhl/dotfiles/blob/master/.local/share/playbooks/home/roles/st/files/config.h
