@BestGirlGrace Unsolicited $0.02:Don't let "tradition" make you do things you don't want to or aren't ready to do.It's okay — you're an adult and you can make your own Christmas plans (if you want). If you don't want to go, just wish them a merry Christmas and tell them you have other plans.Admittedly it's taken me until my thirties to set this line with my parents... 😅

@andi Yeah, the thing is that there's Mom Xmas, Dad Xmas, and Stepdad Xmas. I enjoy the first two, and the last is the one I'm at now and is sucking the soul out of my body. I think I'm gonna start planting the seed of "I don't have fun with stepdad's family" after this.
