I really feel bad but I can't force myself to feel or try to feel something for a person that I don't like

@mitsu Cheating is bad! No cheating allowed before, AND ESPECIALLY NOT AFTER marriage!

@mitsu I don't think that is something you should feel bad about. Nobody should have to be forced into feeling something for another. Better for your feelings to grow organicly... Or not at all as the case may be. You can't like everyone, nor should you be pressured into doing so. That's my take on it, fwiw.

@mitsu that's not a bad thing at all. you shouldn't have to force yourself to change for anyone

@mitsu No problem. Is anyone pressuring you about this, or is it more that you just feel bad on your own? Like the voices in your head? If it is them, I understand how that goes and I'm still learning to live with this inner critic. I have heard that getting righteously angry puts them on your side, and I know doubting easily turns them against you.

@mitsu Well, at least you don't have the added conflict from someone else. Although one could say this stems from childhood upbringing. So you are more of a people pleaser? What do you think happens if someone is disappointed with you or feels bad after something you say/do or don't as the case may be?
