       @2ferdi7 I recommend it. It challenges the idea that money was an improvement from systems of bartering, which is a myth that Adam Smith wrote into existence. Coinage came into being when occupying armies needed goods- the imperial government would proclaim a tax that could only be collected in coinage and people had to feed soldiers to get coins
