       @Kapirsnick You only see messages from all instances the founder of the respective instance decided to "federate" with.

       @cucumber_demon No it has nothing to do with the admin. You get messages that everyone on your instance follows and posts they boost. The admin can block some instances and people and that's not publicly known unless they post transparency reports. (I personally don't block anyone, but I run a small 10 person instance, so it hasn't been a problem so far).
