       Dumb mastodon question:Oftentimes when I see user profiles, it says "This information may not reflect the users full profile" and many toots are missing. What gives and how can I fix that?

       @m_m_myers your instance can only serve the metadata it understands. the source profile may have more information than your instance can show

       @m_m_myers @shaderphantom this, and it can only show you posts it knows about (posts that were delivered to your instance because they originated there or were seen by someone on your instance).

       @shaderphantom @m_m_myers It won't go out and download new posts when you ask to see someone's profile, basically. only ones that are already on your server, either because they started there, they were delivered because someone on your instance follows them, or they were boosted by someone on your instance.
