@SarcasmKid i'm more flexible than you think. I used to talk shit about Apple just because "overpriced shit lololol" but now i talk shit about Apple because i have experience with it, the knowledge and my own and other people's preferences.

@SarcasmKid several times in my case. If they can prove their points with reasoning that isn't based on their personal feelings, that is.

@hakui @SarcasmKid eh, i had iPad 4, it's very awkward and limiting, and being a QA by nature i found too many bugs in it to see why people think it "just works". I see where overpricing comes from, but honestly i think it's waste of money both at user and at maker sides, especially now.

@hakui @SarcasmKid @hj it's less waste to pay buy something once for a lot of money than buying cheap shit and upgrading it more oftenthat's why expensive thinkpads are justified compared to average laptop PC's w

@hakui @SarcasmKid @hj yeah I know, that's why I was saying that it'd be preferrable if people paid premium if it meant they dont generate waste so often (like with thinkpads, 2010 models still usable in 2018, but not like idevices)

@shpufeff @hakui @SarcasmKid problem is that planned obsolesce is a very real thing and a working business model - so even if you buy premium nowadays but still generate waste becuase it's expected to be this way.

@SarcasmKid can't think of any cases where a debate including me did anything, but I've certainly evolved my opinions and philosophy through observing others arguing.
