       @orekix Pretty much anything that Ikuhara has a lot of creative control over ends up being weird with the symbolism. Have you seen Yurikuma Arashi?

       @serael I've seen Ikuhara be described as the most postmodernist director in anime.I haven't watched that one, Utena is the first work I'm watching from him, not counting parts of Sailor Moon, I think I'll watch Penguindrum after Utena.
