@Wolf480pl @climagic Most of the mkfs.* commands have a flag for partition labels/names, so you can label stuff when creating the FS. Unfortunately though, the flag is not named the same for all FS (e.g. for fat it's -n, for ext2/3/4 it's -L)

@neijatolf @climagic yeah, I know about that one. But sometimes you forgot to set a label when mkfs-ing, and you want to add it afterwards, in which case tune2fs or e2label come handy for ext2/3/4.
