@lanodan most of the log messages are my monitoring things poking imap, imaps, smtp and smtps once every minute tbh.wonder if there's an option for opensmtpd/dovecot to exclude one specific IP from logs

@lanodan I use rsyslog.I dunno how I'd filter it out tbh. Would be a pain due to how it appears in logs.Typically the IP is mentioned in the first entry, which is also marked with a session ID. Following that there's a couple messages marked with the session ID, but not the IP address.It's not like a web server, where the IP is in every log entry. the only consistent thing is session ID
