#introductions Hi I'm Mike. I've been around the Fediverse for a while. I created the Friendica, RedMatrix, Hubzilla, Osada, and Zap projects. I developed the DFRN, Zot/Zot6 and OWA protocols. My software does some pretty cool stuff, but I'm not out to win any popularity contests and world domination isn't my thing. I played a non-trivial role in creating the modern internet and now I'm investing my time and energy creating ethical alternative services to bring back a real sense of privacy and self-determination.I have a modest farm in Bugger All, Australia and raise cows, horses, and chooks. I drink kickass #homebrew and play a mean #guitar.Have a great day.

@mike Nice! I don't know anything about the computer stuff, but what are you #brewing? I make ale, plum wine, peach wine and cherry wine. I've also made lilac petal wine and I'll make rose petal wine one of these days.

@greenjon @mike I pick Oak leaves in the Fall and make a tea add some rosehips and/or ginger. Then add honey and yeast after it cools. I use D-47. Works good for what I brew. Didn't take a starting gravity. I was on a roll. Three pounds in a gallon. I can get fairly fast and loose with the process when brewing. The leaves have more sugar in the early Spring when they bud out and less in the Fall. Just the opposite for tannins they have.
