       @lain @marsxyz did you hear about what happened to the r/Libertarian subreddit when they got some kind of voting system to make it more "democratic" and the sub's libertarian socialist contingent suddenly was able to make decisions? all hell broke loose, one of the mods went full nazi and the sub imploded.

       @NoGodsNoSenpaisI find it pretty natural. Libertarian ideals need some sort of repressive state, for example to be sure property rights are respected. For a good bunch of them Property is more important than democracy.@lain

       @marsxyz Entirely unsurprising since democracy is the exact opposite of liberalism, libertarians would have no reason to either like or indulge in it, quite the opposite in fact.On the other hand democracy is responsible for some good things, voting Socrates to death for one.
