       I somehow was two days late to the article with info from the #tumblr engineer who kwit.Anyway if you didn't hear, tl;dr this was in the works 6 months (not a surprise) because #Verizon fatcats think they can double the userbase in 2019 (umm..) and thus want to clean it up for advertisers (not a surprise).Mixing profit motive and #SocialMedia will *always* end this way.
