@em So the majority of Bionicle (Especially the bits that non-fans know) takes place either inside a giant robot, of which pieces of a planet are stored in Domes in different parts of the robot, or it takes place on what is essentially a bunch of moss that grew on the robots face when it crashed on a planet. The Bionicles people know were built by another race of people in order to keep the robot running, sort of like in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaky where humans weher part 1/?

@em of the computers basic functions.Near the end of the story, the Bionicles met up with the other races of the planet they were on, which turned out to be the race that had built the robot in the first place (To help save their dying planet). The race on this planet look pretty similar to Bionicles, but with more face like and less mask like features. However, Toa (The Big Bionicles) take on the form they believe Toa to be, so thats why different Toa look the way they do 2/?

@em so there arent really any Toa that look the same anyway, its just that most people have a similar vision of what Toa look like.Thats enough lore for now, hope you learnt something

@Tobin @em Ahh Tren Krom.Tren Krom is the only fully organic being that characters meet, and he's basically the Cthulhu of the Bionicle Universe. He's a massive nihilist too, he was gonna kill a bunch of Toa that stumbled by him, but thought "Actually living in this world is worse than dying, I'll let you go free"

@tA@emi like the idea that the only fully organic being is a cthulu. could be expanded that any flesh being like us would be seen as one (but iguess that's baseless headcanons)

@Tobin @em Bionicles have some sort of flesh / biological matter to them.Theres one Toa who lost an arm, and its explicitly stated they now have one normal arm, and one fully mechanical arm

@tA@emye but its diff. if i know anything from bionicle the movie the mask of light its that they are very different in appearance from goopy people like us. rakshi, masks, & other things are more goopy but at levels notably subdued compared to our world
