       New advances in "sign up for our newsletter" fuckery: I just visited a site where the signup modal was coded to be 30px taller than the screen, with the "no thanks" link in that 30px, so you have to scroll down in order to even see that not signing up is an option.

       @noelleThat you can even scroll with that garbage on the screen is probably a "bug" they'll fix later. Something just to technically comply with a privacy regulation while being useless.

       @noelle Diiiiiiiiiiicks. Popup modals are already bad enough without the bullshit you described making them worse. (Hell, I try to avoid Medium these days because of their "sign up for the site" modal.)
