       @romanzolotarev @SoloBSD Are you perhaps copying from some tutorial? dbus_daemon was the name of the rc.d(8) script pre-5.8. It was renamed to 'messagebus'. That was several years ago.https://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade58.html#PkgupIt's unfortunately too common for tutorials you find on the Internet to be outdated, or simply wrong. For example, I've often seen random rc.conf(5) settings from FreeBSD that make it obvious the tutorial writing had no idea what they were doing.. :flan_pats:

       @romanzolotarev @SoloBSD You can usually find important instructions for enabling daemons/services in /usr/local/share/doc/pkg-readmes/, for example see the file for avahi there.It's also helpful to pay attention to install messages for packages, as they usually include hints.
