content warnings are about letting people opt in to viewing a post, not about hiding itthere's nothing wrong with a long content warning (or with a "long" content warning :D )remember the federated and local timelines exist! you don't need to interact with them, but anything you post with a "public" setting will appear there! if you don't want this to happen, you can post unlisted, and the post can still be boosted and seen by people who don't follow you!you don't owe anyone a follow; if you don't feel comfortable following them for any reason, you don't have to - even if it's not their fault(the same applies to interaction of all kinds)and finally, feel free to explore! no one will be upset if you try out a new instance, or a new name, or a new anything! <3(oh, and you can stop your posts, and by extension people's replies to your posts, from appearing in search engines in your settings!)
