I have not seen much of our world, but if I had to describe the earth, based on my travels, I’d say that it’s a mostly empty place where only a handful of people dwell.

@neauoireThat's a classic example of a selection effect.

@neauoire I kinda want to go more places that would give me that impression... it's hard to go anywhere here without running into people

@neauoire I've recently hit 15 countries in my visited list. Always city centers for work though. Radically different experience. I really should make time to see the places less harrassed by humanity.

@Hamman I lived in Tokyo for a while, and I feel like I could have that sense too would I have stayed there. But from my recent experiences sailing around the world, it's totally empty.https://100r.co/#map

@neauoire I found out about you guys about a year ago. I must say that your journey has been a big inspiration to me. Seeing you guys do it sustainably brought it to my attention that it isn't a live style I have even considered. I'm currently in the process of building a remote client base with the goal of once I finish my honours or master's I can simply slip into any life I want, currently really considering the nomadic life for the freedom aspects.

@neauoire Your travels remind me of Wind Waker so much, one of my favorite games!I travel a lot, but mostly for work and to crowded places; your photos and stories sound so appealing though!

@attilam that’s interesting. It’s a game that really inspired Rekka and I. It may have played a role in all of this.
