The calendar I’m going to use from now on began the day I was born and is finite. The apps I build for my system will use it and when the updates stop that will be the end.

@drisc it's so weird, I was going to build a calendar that ends at about 70. But it seems that we may be able to live much longer? I don't know where to draw the line.

@driscHaha, I've been planning something similar for a long time. Let me know how it turns out, I love this concept.

@joamo I have the length of a week, which is 10 days, months which are 4 weeks long, and years which are 10 months long.Given my age that means that I’m roughly half way through year 21.I’ve found that my interests and hobbies seem to flow in a cycle of around 400 days, so this works better figuring out what I want to do.

@drisc I can't give it too much attention right now but I'd love to hear more about your process down the line. You zero'd in on the same thing I was going for in trying to work out a similar system (I temporarily settled on a huge circle calendar pencil onto the wall for now): biorythms and productivity related to natural processes. My intention was to create a journaling system that gave people life scale perspective, but the scope of this project keeps expanding.

@joamo Having a life scale journal sounds like a brilliant project and I wish you luck with creating it! :DFor me that kind of big picture thinking doesn’t come very easily. Referring back to the past is essential for moving forward but I’m not good at breaking out of thought loops based on past actions.I have been writing a blog post about how I process things for the past couple of months (I’m so, sooo bad at long form) but I’ll try and finish it up Soon ™️ and get you the link.

@drisc @joamo I’d love to read it too.
