       @measlytwerp I did find this amusing though; as it'd be similar to what I would have to put.Also, checking the modlog user was interesting, seems instances are quick to block. Though maybe they already had interactions.

       @e4rache @rtwx regarding virtue signalling...What he is actually doing is mocking people for their honest beliefs by constructing a nonsense strawman of how people behave.That he thinks people adopt these beliefs just to be part of a group tells you a lot about himself - he's attributing the disingenuous behaviour that he engaged in to others completely missing that the reason he doesn't fit in is because he's a complete arse.

       @rtwx @measlytwerp He bought the domain to try to get banned as quickly as possible, but in my interactions with Zonk, he's actually one of the nicest people I've met on the Fediverse and has backed up people who have been mobbed by those who claim to be progressives. If you're really scared of an 8 user instance and seek to immediately ban everything you don't agree with, there's a good chance you'll find yourself in an echo chamber.

       @djsumdog @measlytwerp I'm a huge fan of letting user block as they see fit.I'm fairly certain most of the fediverse already is an echo chamber honestly. Part of the reason I'd love to roll my own instance.Also, I suspected as much about zonk being an actual reasonable person IRL. Just a feeling I had. But yeah, I guess point made.
