@crushv Well the way I see it, there are two fundamental schools of being *sigh* transgender, a term I don't like because it legitimises gender theory, but whatever.1: "Trans" as a prefix denoting TRANSIT, from one thing to another. This is the "trans" of "transsexual", to move from one sex to another.2: "Trans" as a prefix denoting TRANSCENDENCE, to overcome or move beyond something, to render it irrelevant. This seems to be what people mean about 50% of the time when they use the word "transgender"Personally, I'm on board with usage 1, but not usage 2. To me, masculinity and femininity are important spiritual forces that apply not only to humanity but to animals and the wider natural AND inanimate world beyond, so the idea of attempting to deconstruct and devalue that is something I see as pointless and misguided - the only reason I don't use the word "sacrilegious" is because I don't really believe that such immortal and eternal energies can be meaningfully harmed by a bunch of people saying dumb shit.

@DetectiveHyde you put more thought into this than me lol, i guess i fall into category one. I think category two is a valid thing to explore honestly, but not under the transgender label.
