@rinpatch bc their domain was blocked lol, making it useless. maybe its ok now but it was blocked for a month and i was forced to find another solution. + windows didn't want to play nice with it so a vpn provider seemed like the only way to browse freely without giving my data to (((free vpn))) companies

@louisoft01 @zonk the government wants VPNs to either block all websites blocked in Russia or be blocked. However they blocked only the very big ones, even PIA is still accesible

@rinpatch @louisoft01 yea thats true. they only really go after the big free ones. telegram proxy operators were targeted for a while but they're pretty chill about them now. they mostly just got lazy

@rinpatch @zonk I use PIA myself in the UK due to it's good speeds and the price is great for a no logs service

@zonk lol I am not against paid VPN, I use it myself. But antizapret is literally the best free VPN around, they have openVPN and socks and latency is very low since their servers are in netherlands/poland

@zonk @rinpatch Proton VPN may work then which has a pretty good no logs free plan thats speed limited and no torrents allowed.
