ok fedi i need some tech helpi got some data off a memory card from 2000- some mysterious audio files & text documents & drawings, all of which i know are from child-me.i cannot open any of them.the audio files are .wav but throw a missing codec error in VLC when i try to play them. the text documents are in the .psw (Pocket Word) format & the images are in .psi format (god knows, i only know they're images from the file names).can anyone on Tech Masto help me open these bits of my childhood?

@xyzzy Weird. The wav files might be corrupted, but I'd try first using Winamp or (if on Linux) an appropriated audio player with the right codecs. If you are on windows, try something like this: https://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_mega.htmAbout the other two, you'll have to use the same program you created them with, or some other program that actually supports that format. Nothing that you can't find on google. You might be able to extract at least the raw text from the psw files if you are unable to find anything to view these, if you open them with an hex editor or vim or something. But not the format or the binary data.

@xyzzy the simplest answer might be to get a pocket pc/handheld pc to put the files on, then sync it with your PC and let ActiveSync do conversions to a normal filetype
