       making a service on linux: put a file in /etc/systemd/system/ or /etc/init.d/ or whatevermaking a service on windows: write an executable that implements ServiceMain and use sc.exe to set it up

       @lynnesbian Just for the record, Ubuntu uses /lib/systemd/system for that.Then you gotta do "sudo systemctl enable [filename]" to actually enable it.So, whether Windows or Ubuntu, you're still calling a program to autorun something.
