       easily remember the difference between disc and disk with this simple graphdisC: Can only read Content and it's a flat disC, you put it in optiCal drivedisK, the King of storage, you can do whatever you want

       @lynnesbian this is straight nostalgia speaking but i miss using floppy drives like when I was in school. they came in so many great colors. sorry if this is annoying -- I am glad to know they are disks and not discs

       @lynnesbian I definitely feel like designs in hardware have gotten less fun and way more bougie, and you can get cute thumb drives now but i remember the first ones were all like black or grey and it was something i thought about in comparison to my rainbow collection of floppies

       @feminineforms one time at my old school a girl brought in her assignment on three floppy disksthis was around 2008 so the floppy was long dead by this point

       @lynnesbian queeni definitely remember using them in high school (around 2007ish) cause all the school computers were old and my personal computer at the time was old (i had the cd drive and the floppy drive)
