it was a good thing that Hitman and IO was let go from Square Enix because clearly they have no idea what to do with games that aren't Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts

I don't count NieR or Automata in this because Yoko Taro games are weird outliers that don't make sense in how they exist at all, let alone under the Square brand(they're beautiful games and I love them though)

After:-Deus Ex getting put on an indefinite hiatus after Mankind Divided didn't do so hot (not helped by Square's interference)-2016 Hitman forcing episodic structuring and thus segmenting the playerbase-calling Tomb Raider a "failure" despite doing critically and financially well -being *shocked* that games based on old JRPGs did well (note: JRPGS ARE WHAT MADE THIS COMPANY FAMOUS)I really wonder how anyone has goodwill for this company.

@kelerak At least they let the Hitman creators go make Hitman 2 with another company, and I hear it is good
