       Despite this thread about buying second hand items I did just order a new ReMarkable tablet for my wife for Christmas. In my defense though they are going for as much or more on ebay than they cost new right now because they are on sale.

       @bowner1012 True. Right or not it is still considered a faux pas to many to give second hand items as gifts.
