I grew up in a town that had a theater from the 1920s (or earlier), complete with vaudeville stage in front of the screen. @desomnio The Palace Theater, Kennett, MO circa 1954 (based on the marquee). Guy in the wheelbarrow is my pop. Part of radio station promotion.Might have been 1951since "A Girl for Joe" was also released as "Force of Arms"

@desomnio I was fortunate to be able to record oral histories with most of the first employees of the station. And preserve hundreds of photos. Enjoy.
