i saw an article the other day that claimed mindfulness training was shown to decrease productivity alongside its positive effects and it's like... what did you really think an ancient spiritual practice focused on detaching the mind from the material world would do

@thatcosmonaut as a more-or-less active Zen Buddhist I have, uh, *feelings* about how samadhi got turned into "mindfulness" which then got turned into a way for libertarian tech bros to calm down before that big meeting with the bros from the incubator
