@eloisa @julia @carbontwelve @glitterbomb Honestly, there is not such a big difference in the people using Twitter and Mastodon for me.People just get angry because of different reasons:On Twitter they get angry because the European Union lets people drown in the Mediterranean sea and because of far right people torching refugee hostels.On Mastodon they get angry because of men being assholes and harassing trans people.

@C1710 @julia @carbontwelve @glitterbomb yup, most def., but I was speaking of the broader sense there. Like, even when there are arguments I feel there's less likelihood to see certain behaviors around here than on birdsite, like dogpilling, etc. In fact, some instances even ban that.

@C1710 @julia @carbontwelve @glitterbomb And we have a CW culture, among other stuff. I notice the differences more easily when people from birdsite come here and try to behave like there and then it's like a mini civil war around here. This, ofc, my biased opinion as a mod. :3

@C1710 there is much more a sense of community on the fediverse than a following. Again this can be influenced greatly by those you follow, but in my experience I have found here much more positively interactive than birdsite. @eloisa @glitterbomb @julia
