       I'm a broke college student, and if I'm about to pirate something it's either because I wouldn't buy it anyway, it's so old that only the publisher is profiting, or if it's something by a big corporation, and only the last if there's no good alternative.

       @dtluna yeahhhto be honest these indie artists should probably think of a different business model to make money. Not to blame them for getting having their stuff "stolen," but there are definitely better ways to make money than just targeting the consumer market.

       @xenome@letsalllovela.only bad thing is Google Analytics and PayPal. Another thing to consider: Bandcamp takes 10% or 15% of each sale, depending on the last year of sales. Physical merchandise and going out to shows is still the best way to support, if you're into that sort of thing, but this makes it easy to get something straight from the artist and on their terms, not some record company or streaming serviceFood for thought.
