Still disappointed in #DoctorWho. Uninteresting plot lines, a doctor who has to make every episode into a big speech-teachable-moment, NPCs who can't hear the main cast when they start dicussing time travel, and just badly written dialogue. Man, good thing that DuckTales is running as a palate cleanser.

@rixx "every episode into a big speech-teachable-moment"I disagree. Not every moment has to be like the Pandorica speech. We only had six episodes with a new Doctor, so I will give it a season before I say my opinion. :)

@rixx Chris Chibnall delivered my least favourite stories in previous seasons. Now he’s writing the bulk of them (so far), and it’s not a good idea. The best ones have been non-Chibnall stories IMO.

@rixx yeah, Jodie Whittaker's Doctor is more "classic" than the previous doctors.

@GyrosGeier Nah, I'm super happy with Jodie Whittaker's performance. It's Chris Chibnall's Doctor I'm unhappy with. As with Star Trek and other fandoms, I think that classic is not better. Having better plots and dialogue is a good thing, not something to be thrown over board to be more "classic".
