       it's funny to me that before I even knew about the trans community, several times earlier in my life I have unintentionally "passed" as a girl. I used to have hair that went down to the middle of my back (before catholic school made me cut it all off). Once when I was at the airport, I was tired and in baggy clothes and accidentally set off the scanner. It took me awhile to realize that the TSA woman calibrated it to "female", and it picked up you know what.

       @pounce after i knew i was trans but a few years before 'medically transitioning' i got reprimanded in an airport men's toilet by a cleaner, while wearing really baggy stuff, ratty t-shirt, no makeup, tired, etche ended up just staring at me not knowing how to save

       @scarlett @pounce it's always fun when you go to a public toilet and men come in and get out right away saying "oh sorry". And then come back in 30 seconds later.
