TFW you're really tired and your coworker asks how you are and you nearly reply "I'm gay"

@ceralor I have very nearly barked or meowed at co-workers. Also someone I know was gonna say "my fuzzy tail" and changed it to "my fucking toe"

@c0de @ceralor I've heard of people writing "owo" to strangers on business stuff, but that's more amazing tbhhow do you reach such levels of furry? :blobcatsurprised:

@espectalll @ceralor I mean, I've also nearly done :3 and stuff. Furry is different for everyone, and for me it's a lifestyle and so much more. Just the more time you spend in the fandom, the more you become trash I think x3

@c0de @ceralor I guess I've never taken it as a lifestyle, I just love fursonas and all the creative stuff furries do and talking about furry stuff and Telegram stickers and groups and memes and nice furry friends... dunno, I'm not that much into fursuiting, cons, rp, stuff like that. Is that what I have to aspire to if I want to achieve furvana? :thinkingcat:

@espectalll @ceralor Like I said, the experience is unique to everyone. I don't RP anymore to be honest (don't have the time).Cons on the other paw, I would recommend going to at least one con to experience it. Same for fursuiting, try to wear one of your friend's suits if possible.I don't even own a fursuit, and up until last year, didn't even want one. Then I wore a fursuit for the first time and was like omg

@c0de @ceralor I have no friends with suits! We're all too poor x3And I was like almost once at a con, it was over and I was just hanging out with a friend and a few people who had still not left... that was nice I guess, but it still felt awkward x3333333

@espectalll @ceralor Check your area for furry events like meets, picnics, and the like too. They can be a lot less overwhelming than a con, the furs are localish and who knows, there may be a furry you know online in the same area that you've never met before!

@c0de @ceralor I'm in Spain, there's not much here, and I'm actually afraid of some people in the community :shrug_yui:

@espectalll @ceralor Fears of the community are understandable. Furry map is a service that some furries register their city on (you opt in this info), so this doesn't give a complete view, but it does look like there's a few registered furries in spain. https://www.furrymap.net/?zoom=6&lat=40&lon=-4

@c0de @ceralor I registered, but didn't bother to setup my profile properly... the website is very poorly built tbh

@espectalll @ceralor OH I whole heatedly agree x3I don't even remember if I'm registered. If I am, then the location is wrong since I've moved so much in the last decade

@c0de @quarky @ceralor never heard it that way, I just thought it was taken from Japanese anime/manga :thinkingcat:

@espectalll @c0de @ceralor I always had catface, and yeah I thought it was an import from Japanese culture to mean "cutesy"that said it does totally work as a furry thing too
