Alright am I insane if I’m enjoying second half of season 2 of twin peaks quite a bit?

@stunt_bird probably, though I can see why it got panned when you could only get 45 minutes new once a week and couldn't binge through it. I never watched it until recently and the HD remaster is beautiful enough that the aesthetics are great even if the stories aren't

@stunt_bird where are you at? The last 6 or so episodes before the season finale are pretty decent.

@The_Ham_Kleptomaniac i mean I think major Briggs is the best character in the whole show so I’m enjoying his story here

@stunt_bird If you're enjoying the early Windom Earle stuff, you are going to have a fine time the rest of the season. I remember this stuff still being being pretty not great and it improving in a couple more eps.

@stunt_birdIt takes some some truly regrettable turns, but it also includes some of the greatest scenes in the series. I think people remember it as worse than it really is overall because it's so loose compared with S1.

@sxyfrnchdprssn yeah 1 is like a long film and 2 at some point you realize you’re supposed to see this as an ongoing TV show

@stunt_bird anything related to the main plot/weird mystery is fine. its when you get into the weeds of the dumb romance triangle/soap opera nonsense where the show loses its way
